I agree a core task is dismantling binary logic -that’s why I don’t use both/and, as ‘both’ assumes a binary structure. Here’s what I wrote at the end of my first post: … we need to get in the habit of using words that imply plurality as well as words that indicate a binary where this occurs. Some words I use are ‘nither’ and ‘orand’. These replace the binaried terms of ‘either, neither’ and ‘and/or’ that they echo.
Does a label have to be static I wonder? I’m going to think more abut this, maybe that idea reflects of a particular conceptualisation of time.
